Guided Noticing Audio
This is an audio recording that I’ve put together for you to download and listen to (It is the same exercise you would have listened to on the audiobook).
This is based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), an evidence-based mindfulness approach to dealing with uncomfortable or difficult thoughts and feelings.
The aim of this practice is for you to follow my guidance, and as you listen to the audio and by listening and repeating the exercise a number of times, you will become much more aware of the reality that you are not your thoughts, and you are not your emotions… and that regardless of any uncomfortable thoughts and feelings you may have, that you still have the capacity to use your guiding values and take action that will move you toward being the best version of yourself.
